Every cylinder gets a steel-ring identity.
A stainless steel barcode ring is fixed to each cylinder, and it's built to survive the plant, the heat and years of rough handling.
CATalytics puts a stainless steel barcode ring on every cylinder. You can follow through the whole cycle: filled at your plant, out on a vehicle, into a customer's hands, and back for the next fill. With cylinder tracking software, you can see where any cylinder is in seconds, which customers are sitting on yours, and which ones are due for testing, so your cylinders keep turning instead of quietly disappearing.

Your team scans at every move.
Fill, dispatch, delivery and return are logged against the cylinder, the gas type and the customer, as they happen.
It works with the Tally you already run.
With our cylinder tracking software, nobody enters the same thing twice. Your stock on the ground stays in step with your books.
You see rotation, holding and test dates at a glance.
Turn-around, who's holding your cylinders, and what's due for testing, all in one place.

Each cylinder you own cost real money, and it only pays you back when it's turning: filled, delivered, emptied, returned, filled again. The ones sitting idle at a customer's site for months aren't just missing stock.
Your register has gaps, the delivery slips are in a drawer, and Tally only knows what you billed. A few hundred cylinders are out there somewhere but you have no idea which customers are holding them? For how long? Which ones are overdue for their next test and shouldn't be in circulation at all?
So you can't bill the demurrage you're owed, you can't recover the cylinders you've lost track of, and a slow turn-around quietly caps how much each cylinder can earn for you.
CATalytics is a cylinder tracking software that helps you track every cylinder you own, by gas type, from your plant to the customer and back.
A stainless steel barcode ring is welded onto each cylinder during onboarding. Unlike a sticker or a paper tag, it survives the fill, the heat and the handling, and it can't be peeled off and swapped.
Your team scans the ring with a phone whenever a cylinder is filled, dispatched, delivered or returned. Each scan ties the cylinder to a gas type and a customer, so the record builds itself as the day goes on.
The tally integration makes sure that the cylinders you track on the ground and the stock in your books finally tell the same story.
CATalytics follows it the whole way, and the faster that loop runs, the more each cylinder is worth to you.
As a cylinder is filled and loaded out, it's scanned against the gas type, the vehicle and the customer it's headed to. You know what left your plant and where it's going before the truck is out of the gate.
Once it’s delivered, the cylinder shows as held by that customer, with the date it arrived. If they sit on it, you can see exactly how long, which is the difference between demurrage you can bill and money you simply lose.
If a cylinder stays out past your limit, CATalytics flags it by name: which customer, which cylinder, last seen where. A long-held cylinder stops being a write-off and turns into a follow-up call.
When the empty comes home, the return is scanned and the loop closes. The cylinder is back in your stock, your count is right, and it's ready to earn again.
Because each ring is a unique identity, a cylinder is the same cylinder whether it's at your plant, on a vehicle or at a customer's door. Nothing gets counted twice, and nothing quietly slips off the books. Every fill, dispatch, return and overdue cylinder flows live to your dashboard.
If you fill and distribute oxygen, nitrogen, CO₂, argon or medical gases, you already know your cylinders are your biggest asset and your hardest thing to keep track of. CATalytics is built for exactly that: thousands of identical-looking cylinders, rotating through your plant and out to hundreds of customers, each one needing to be found, recovered, billed and tested on time.
Setup is quick and the steel rings come with onboarding, so most plants go live in days rather than months. Whether you run one plant or several, the approach is the same.
CATalytics was built for the gas distributor's plant and depot from the start. It wasn't retro-fitted from an office accounting tool.

A register tells you what someone wrote down. Tally tells you what you billed. CATalytics tells you where every cylinder actually is, and helps you get it back and earning.
